Merry Christmas!

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh!

Christmas is coming and I'm counting down each day! It's the most joyful day in a year for me, spending time with friends and family. I love December the most, shopping X'mas items, enjoying all the X'mas decoration, the songs, the smiles on faces, loving every single bit of it!

Just to share some X'mas crotchet patterns <3

Amigurumi

It was on a lovely Sunday afternoon when I first browse through some of the websites about Amigurumi. Amigurumi is a Japanese word, it is the art of knitting or crotcheting small stuffed animals. It is a combination of ami which means crotcheted or knitted and nuigurumi which means stuffed doll. They are so cute and beautiful, it is indeed a very interesting art work and so I decided to do it myself.

Soon, I found out some videos on Youtube and started to try it out myself. For those of you who are interested, you may start by learning single crotchet stitches first and then slowly learn the other stitches. I started by practicing straight line pieces and then trying out to crotchet in spiral, in other words, to make a round ball. A lot of amigurumi worked by crotcheting round balls as different parts and joining separate pieces to form the final piece.  You may try to search on Youtube with the keywords "crotchet for absolute beginners" and you will get a few videos to teach on this.

Here are some patterns which I found out and would love to share with you guys =)

Happy crotcheting! =D
